P3 Project respects the privacy of its members and is committed to handling personal information responsibly, transparently and securely. This Privacy Notice explains the information we collect, why we collect it, how it may be used and the measures taken to protect it.
2. Information We Collect
When you register or participate in P3 activities, we may collect information such as your name, contact details, gender, age, occupation, location and community information, membership and referral information, programme participation records, photographs and other information voluntarily provided through the P3 platform.
Where a particular programme requires additional information, members will be informed as appropriate.
3. How We Use Your Information
Your information may be used to:
- create and manage your P3 membership;
- verify membership information and maintain membership records;
- communicate relevant information, programmes and opportunities;
- coordinate training, mentorship, volunteering and community activities;
- plan and improve programmes and services;
- support community engagement and advocacy initiatives;
- conduct research, monitoring, evaluation and impact assessment; and
- maintain the security, integrity and effective administration of the P3 platform.
4. Programme and Partner Engagement
P3 works with NGOs, community development associations, private-sector organisations, public institutions, development partners and other responsible organisations.
Where necessary for an approved programme or collaborative initiative, relevant information may be processed or shared with authorised partners for legitimate programme purposes, subject to appropriate safeguards and applicable data protection requirements.
P3 does not sell members' personal information.
5. Sponsored Programmes and Opportunities
Membership may provide access to sponsored programmes, capacity-building, mentorship, pitching opportunities, community initiatives and other opportunities made available through P3 and its partners.
Access to specific programmes and opportunities may be subject to eligibility criteria, availability and individual programme requirements. Registration as a P3 member does not automatically guarantee selection for or participation in a particular programme.
6. How We Protect Your Information
P3 applies reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect members' information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure.
Access to personal information is limited to authorised persons who require it for legitimate P3 functions and approved programme activities.
7. Data Retention
Personal information will be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for membership administration, programme management, reporting, legal or legitimate operational purposes, subject to applicable requirements.
8. Your Rights and Choices
Subject to applicable data protection requirements, members may request access to or correction of their personal information and may raise questions or concerns regarding how their information is being handled.
Where processing is based on consent, members may also request to withdraw that consent, subject to any lawful or legitimate requirements that may continue to apply.
9. Individual Membership
P3 membership is structured on an individual basis. Members of political parties, campaign organisations, political associations and other support groups are welcome to join and participate in the P3 Community in their individual capacities.
10. Updates to This Privacy Notice
P3 may update this Privacy Notice from time to time to reflect changes in its programmes, operations, technology or applicable requirements. The current version will be made available through the P3 platform.
